About Me

Penketh Beauty is the result of 32 years of Training, Knowledge and Experience in the Beauty Industry

I fell in love with all things Beauty from a very young age, going on to study at South Cheshire College and attaining my core qualifications in the industry.

Since then, I have worked for various salons around the North West of England and several leading skincare companies. I have also worked independently as both a freelance make up artist and salon owner. I settled at Newspaper House in 2018, loving the age and history of the building and its location in Penketh.

I specialise in Permanent Hair Removal, Blemish Removal and Problematic Skin on both the face and body. I use the latest methods and technology to counter issues such as Ageing Skin, Acne, Hyperpigmented skin and Rosacea. Clear skin and unwanted hair removal can boost confidence hugely: treatment is fully confidential and results can often be life-changing.

Fully Qualified & Insured

I am fully qualified in every aspect of Beauty Therapy, Electrolysis and Advanced Electrolysis.

I am also a member of several Professional Associations, including:

  • The British Institute & Association of Electrolysis (BIAE)
  • The British Beauty Council
  • The Guild of Beauty Therapists
  • The British Association of Cosmetologists and Therapists (BABTAC)

I have accreditations from The Sterex Electrolysis Academy, The Karen Clifford Skin Cancer Trust, The Guild of Beauty Therapists, DMK International, RegimA, Clarins and many more.

Always Something New to Learn!

Beauty is a constantly evolving industry and I love keeping up with new developments. There is always something new to learn: I attend Pro Beauty London every year, the biggest trade exhibition in the UK featuring manufacturers and skincare companies from all over the world. London is the globally recognised venue for the launch of new innovative products and treatments  and I’m lucky enough to see it all first hand.

I regularly attend professional hands-on workshops to to refresh and extend my knowledge, and personally host an annual workshop for colleagues and students.

During lockdown I attended numerous online seminars and events, studied Covid prevention and control with the World Health Organisation and also trained as an NHS Vaccinator.
